Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side . Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement . Remove the instrument panel instrument cluster hood. Refer to Instrument Panel Instrument Cluster Hood Replacement . Remove the instrument panel center trim plate applique. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique Replacement . Remove the right body side front window garnish molding. Refer to Body Side Front Window Garnish Molding Replacement .
1	Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 (80 lb in)
2	Instrument Panel Upper Bolt (Qty: 5) Tighten 2.5 (22 lb in)
3	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel - Right Procedure Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retainers securing the trim panel to the instrument panel assembly.
