Preliminary Procedures Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Removal and Installation (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) , Rear Seat Removal and Installation (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) , Rear Seat Removal and Installation (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket Seat) . Remove the rear seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) , Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket) , Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) . Remove the rear seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) , Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) , Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket) .
1	Rear Seat Recliner Bolt (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2	Rear Seat Inner Recliner Procedure Note the routing of the recliner cables for installation. Disconnect the recliner cables from the recliner assembly.
