Installing the release mechanism on the front seat

Different variants may be installed depending on the vehicle equipment.

Position release mechanism (3) as shown.
Clip in the Bowden cable (1) carefully in the arrow direction into the connecting piece (2) marked in yellow.

Feed in the Bowden cable (1) in the arrow direction into the release mechanism (2).

Ensure that the cable linkage (1) of the release mechanism is routed into the guide (2) marked in yellow as shown.

Feed the release mechanism (2) in the arrow direction into the backrest frame (3).
Clip the locks (1) into the backrest frame (3).

Make sure the Bowden cable (1) is snapped correctly into the connecting piece (2).

Install the marked sliding piece in release mechanism as shown.

Replace the blind rivet (1).
Parts: Blind rivet
Secure the release mechanism with blind rivet (1).

Bond the insert (1) in the marked area (2) with the appropriate adhesive strip.
