- Release the gap cover (1) at the detents to the rear and remove.
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Loosen screws (1)

- Release plug connection (1)
from the front passenger airbag.
- Open the glove compartment lid.
- Loosen screws (1) .
- Loosen screws (1)

- Loosen screws (1)
.
- Guide out the upper dashboard trim (1) to the rear with a support person.
- Unlock available plug connections and disconnect.
- Remove the upper dashboard trim (1) from the vehicle with a support person.
