NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Improper routing of cables and wiring harnesses .
Trapped, crushed or damaged cables may cause short circuits and malfunctions .

Route all cables without abrasions, do not trap and crush.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Detents, guides and mounting elements must not be damaged or missing.

There must be no oil or grease on sealing surface (1) .

Replace the screws (1) and sleeves (2) on the cylinder head cover (3) .

Replace gasket (1) .

Feed in and install the seal (1) on the cylinder head cover (2) .

Check the sealing ring (1) on the oil return line (2) for damage.
If necessary, replace the oil return line (2) .

Insert and install the cylinder head cover (1) .

Ensure that the cylinder head cover (1) is installed correctly in the marked area on both the high pressure pump brackets (2) .

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When assembling, it is essential to observe screwing sequences and tightening torques.
Failure to comply with the regulations can lead to leaks and damage.

Tighten all the screws in the sequence (1) to (21) on the cylinder head cover (A) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Cylinder head cover to cylinder head
M6 Replace screws.	Joining torque	4 Nm

Tighten all the screws in the sequence (1) to (21) on the cylinder head cover (A) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Cylinder head cover to cylinder head
M6	Angle of rotation	90°

Feed in and install the holder (3) for the differential pressure sensors.
Tighten the screws (2) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Holder, positive battery cable to cylinder head cover
Self-tapping plastic screw 6 x 18	tightening torque	8 Nm

Secure clamps (1) .
Feed in and install the wiring harness section (2) for the injectors and the ignition coils.
Secure the clamp (1) .
Feed in and install the wiring harness section (4) for sensor system 2.
Secure clamps (3) .

Locks (2) must engage audibly.
Connect and lock the connector (1) to the exhaust camshaft sensor.
