Precondition
The front seats have been fully adjusted towards the bottom.
The front seat backrests have been fully adjusted towards the rear.
The rear seat backrest is folded toward the front.
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Fold the headlining.
Damage to the headlining. If necessary, the headlining must be replaced.
Fold the headlining.

- Carry out tasks with a second person to assist.
- Support the headlining at the front and back.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Loosen the headlining at the clips (2)
.
- Unlock the plug connection (1)
in the D-pillar (2)
area at left and disconnect.
- Loosen the expanding rivet (1) .
- Loosen the headlining (2) at the clips (3) .
- Guide out the headlining (2)
downwards at the respective edge protection and remove from the vehicle towards the front.
