Improper use of a tool when removing the trim panel may damage the head airbag.

- Do not use sharp-edged tools when removing the trim panel.
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Lever out the cover panel (1) from the C-pillar trim panel (2) with a suitable tool.
- Release screw below it.
- Feed the C-pillar trim panel (2) out and upwards and remove.
