- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Disconnecting control units may cause fault code entries and functional limitations. Fault code entries must be read out and deleted if necessary.

- Unlock the locks (1).
- Guide the cover (1) in direction of arrow out of the bracket (2) and remove.
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (2).
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connections in area (1).
- Unlock the wiring harness section of the DME for integrated power supply module (3) in area (2).
- Release the wiring harness section of the DME for integrated power supply module (5) in areas (1).
- Loosen screw (2).
- Set aside cable shoe (3) and (4).
- Release the wiring harness section of the DME for integrated power supply module (2) in areas (1).
- Release the wiring harness section of the DME for integrated power supply module (2) in areas (1).
- Release nut (1).
- Set aside cable shoe (2).
- Guide out and remove the wiring harness section of the DME for the integrated supply module.
