Installing the electric A/C compressor (EKK)

• Check the fitting sleeves (1) on the carrier (2) for damage, replace the fitting sleeves if necessary.

  NOTE: To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
• Insert the electric A/C compressor (EKK) (3) from top front and position it correctly.
• Tighten screws (1) and (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Air conditioning compressor to hybrid coolant pump
  M8x90	tightening torque	19 Nm

• Feed in and install the belt pulley (1).
• Hand-tighten the bolts (arrows).

• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

• Connect and lock the connector (2) on the electric A/C compressor (EKK).
• Replace the O-rings of the refrigerant lines.

  Parts:  O-rings

• Fit the refrigerant lines on the air conditioning compressor and tighten the screws (1).

  NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
• Feed in the holder (2) at the rear at the air conditioning compressor (3) and correctly position.
• Tighten the screw (1) on the holder (2) at the rear at the electric A/C compressor (EKK) (3).
• Fasten the hose support (4).

• Feed in and install the holder (1).
• Insert the coolant hose (2) into the holder (1).
• Close the holder (1).
