52 26 038 Removing and installing/replacing left rear seat frame

Necessary preliminary tasks:

REMOVE backrest frame.
REMOVE LEFT BACKREST COVER .

Lift off cover (1).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 2AZ .

Remove plate (1).

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 52 26 8AZ .

Remove trim (3) in direction of arrow.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 8AZ .

Remove trim in direction of arrow.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 4AZ .

Lift out backrest.

Replacement only:

Remove DAMPER .
Remove ACTUATING MECHANISM FOR REAR SEAT .
Remove BOWDEN CABLE FOR REAR SEAT .
Remove CONTROL UNIT for seat heating.
Remove seat belt buckle.
