41 35 111 Stripping Operations - Replacing Rear Side Panel, Right

- Remove BATTERY
- Remove BUMPER TRIM
- Remove CENTER BUMPER GUIDE
- Remove RIGHT BUMPER GUIDE
- Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM PANEL
- Remove right rear wheel
- Remove RIGHT REAR WHEEL ARCH COVER
- Remove COVER HOUSING
- Remove BACKREST SIDE SECTION ON RIGHT REAR SEAT BACKREST
- Remove REAR SEAT
- Remove TAIL PANEL TRIM AT TOP
- Remove RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR REAR RIGHT ROOF PILLAR
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR RIGHT D-PILLAR
- Remove RIGHT SHOULDER TRIM PANEL
- Remove STRIP ON REAR SIDE WINDOW
- Remove REAR SIDE WINDOW
- Remove RIGHT REAR LIGHT
- Remove REAR RIGHT LOCK STRIKER
- Remove RIGHT REAR LEFT DOOR SILL COVER STRIP
- Remove REAR RIGHT ROCKER PANEL TRIM (OUTER)
- Partially remove DOOR EDGE PROTECTION
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR COVER ON RIGHT SIDE MEMBER
- Remove TRIM STRIP ON RIGHT ROOF FRAME
- Remove RIGHT ROOF RAIL
- Remove RIGHT UNDERBODY PANELLING
- Remove RIGHT REAR DOOR
- Partially detach tailgate seal
- Partially release wiring harness
Systematic schematic diagram:
Press wiring harness (1) through to the inside with the grommet.
Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect.
Release screw (3) and remove MODULE (4).
Release wiring harness at attachment points (1) and set aside.
Release latch mechanisms and remove rear ventilation (2).
Lever out expanding rivet (3) and tie insulating mat (4) forward.
Installation note:
The rear ventilation (2) must not be damaged. (watertightness).
All latch mechanisms must engage audibly.
