Sealing Flange Overview

- Bolt
- 90 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.
- Crankshaft Toothed Belt Gear
- Bolt
- 15 Nm
- Seal
- Do not lubricate the lip on the seal with oil or grease.
- Removing and installing, refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
- Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side
- Must be seated on the alignment pins.
- Removing and installing, refer to SEALING FLANGE, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
- To remove and install, remove the oil pan.
- Cylinder Block
- Oil pump with differential shaft gear removing and installing. Refer to OIL PUMP WITH BALANCE SHAFT DRIVE .
- Crankshaft overview, refer to CRANKSHAFT OVERVIEW .
- Piston and connecting rod overview, refer to PISTONS AND CONNECTING ROD OVERVIEW .
- Bolt
- 60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.
- Always replace.
- Flywheel/Drive Plate
- Flywheel removing and installing. Refer to FLYWHEEL .
- Drive plate removing and installing. Refer to DRIVE PLATE .
- Intermediate Plate
- Must be seated on the alignment sleeves.
- Be careful not to damage or bend it when installing.
- Sealing Flange, Flywheel Side
- With the seal.
- Always replace as a complete unit.
- Removing and installing, refer to SEALING FLANGE, FLYWHEEL SIDE .
- Diamond Disc
- Always replace.
