Disassembly [02/2024 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to REMOVAL [02/2024 - ]
- REMOVE REAR DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR ARMREST COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 - REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR (w/o Illumination)
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WIRE LH (w/ Illumination)

The illustration is an example, so the details may differ.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR NO. 1 VENT SEAL LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR BELT SEAL LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH
HINT:
Remove any remaining butyl tape from the rear door panel. - REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR LOWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR NO. 2 FRAME GARNISH LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Move in this Direction - - - Connect the connector.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and turn the ignition switch to ON.
Refer to INSTALLATION [02/2024 - ]
- Move the rear door glass sub-assembly LH to the bottom position.
Remove in this Direction - - - Turn the ignition switch off and disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
Refer to REMOVAL [02/2024 - ]
- Disconnect the connector.
- Separate the rear door glass sub-assembly LH from the rear door window regulator assembly.
- Remove the rear door glass sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not damage the rear door glass sub-assembly LH.
- Turn the ignition switch off and disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS CHANNEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS CHANNAL FILLER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK CHILD PROTECTION COVER LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15
- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 - REMOVE DOOR LOCK WIRING HARNESS SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 - REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
- REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 - REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH NOTE:
When removing the rear door weatherstrip LH, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the rear door weatherstrip LH using a heat light.
Standard Value
Part Temperature Rear Door Weatherstrip LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) WARNING:- Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
- Touching the heat light may result in burns.
- Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.
*a Heated Part *b Heat Light NOTE:Do not heat the rear door weatherstrip LH excessively.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR NO. 2 WEATHERSTRIP LH NOTE:
When removing the rear door No. 2 weatherstrip LH, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the rear door No. 2 weatherstrip LH using a heat light.

- REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING LH

- REMOVE OUTSIDE MOULDING RETAINER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 - REMOVE REAR DOOR PANEL CUSHION
- REMOVE HOLE PLUG
- REMOVE REAR DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL
- REMOVE SCREW GROMMET
- REMOVE NO. 2 BLACK OUT TAPE LH
