Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2021 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [08/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [08/2020 - 08/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [08/2021 - ]

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Detach the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor from the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure as for the other side.

  5. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP 
    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the ultrasonic sensor clip from the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Protective Tape

      HINT: 

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER 
    1. Detach the 3 claws to remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the front bumper cover.
