Disassembly [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/o Fog Light) 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and fog light cover LH.

  7. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/o Fog Light) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  9. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE FOG LIGHT SEAL 
    1. Remove the fog light seal.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  11. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE 
    1. w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System:
      1. Disengage the 6 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:
      1. Disengage the 16 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

  12. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light) 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and fog light cover LH.

  13. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  15. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SIDE MOULDING LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and guide to remove the radiator grille side moulding LH.

  16. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SIDE MOULDING RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 6 claws to remove the No. 1 radiator grille moulding.

  18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper hole cover LH.

  19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE LH (for Type A) 
    1. Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the lower side radiator grille LH.

  21. REMOVE LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE RH (for Type A) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  22. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING 
    1. For Type A:
      1. Remove the screw.

      2. Disengage the 12 claws to remove the lower radiator grille moulding.

    2. For Type B:
      1. Remove the 5 screws.

      2. Disengage the 16 claws to remove the lower radiator grille moulding.

  23. REMOVE HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL 
    1. Disengage the 2 guides and 16 clips to remove the hood to front end panel seal.

  24. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET 
    1. Remove the screw and 6 clips.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and guide to remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.
  27. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ARM HOLE COVER LH

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and hook to remove the front bumper arm hole cover LH.

    1. Disengage the 5 claws to remove the No. 2 lower radiator grille.

    2. Disengage the 10 claws to remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  35. REMOVE PIN HOLD CLIP 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration to remove the 2 pin hold clips.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  36. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER 
    1. Remove the 2 front fender liner retainers as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  37. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the front bumper side retainer LH is necessary.

    1. Disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  38. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  39. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 front bumper energy absorber is necessary.

    1. Disengage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the No. 2 front bumper energy absorber.

  40. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly is necessary.

    1. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  41. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER ABSORBER 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the front bumper lower absorber is necessary.

  42. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 front bumper reinforcement is necessary.

    1. Remove the 4 nuts and No. 2 front bumper reinforcement.

  43. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 1 engine under cover is necessary.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  44. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the front bumper extension sub-assembly LH is necessary.

    1. Remove the 2 nuts.
