Installation [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the stud bolt to the cylinder block.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Install the generator assembly with the 3 bolts and nut.

      Torque: 43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Install the wire harness clamp bracket to the generator assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 31 N*m (316 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Attach the clamp and connect the generator wire.
    5. Connect the generator wire to terminal B with the nut.

      Torque: 12 N*m (122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf) 

    6. Install the terminal cap.
    7. Connect the generator connector.
  2. CONNECT OIL COOLER TUBE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  3. CONNECT VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  4. INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON TRIM PACKING A 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  5. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUBASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 49

  7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  9. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  10. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  11. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUBASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 46

  12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2017] Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2017 - ] ).
