Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2017 - ] ).

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER OPENING COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 39

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Remove the speaker and disconnect the connector.
      NOTE:

      Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

  5. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP SUBASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [08/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [08/2017 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2019 - ]

  6. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2017 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [08/2019 - ]

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUBASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40

  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Remove the speaker and disconnect the speaker connector.
      NOTE:

      Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.
