Installation [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure
- INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
- Check that the ignition switch is off.
- Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Connect the airbag connector to the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly.
*a Airbag Connector *b Airbag Connector Locking Button Push in this Direction NOTE:When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
- Push in the airbag connector locking button to install the airbag connector.
- Engage the 2 hooks to temporarily install the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly.
- Engage the 2 claws.
- Install the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:Confirm that the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly is installed securely without any excessive gaps and is not protruding outward.
- INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

- INSTALL NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER

- INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

- CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL NO. 2 METER HOOD CLUSTER

- INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

- CONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
- INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

- INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK

- INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
