Reassembly [06/2017 - 09/2019]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the front seat cushion panel sub-assembly to the front seat adjuster assembly with the 4 screws.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 8 hooks to install the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly to the front seat adjuster assembly.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE 
    1. Connect each connector and engage each clamp to install the front seat wire.
    2. Install the screw.

  4. INSTALL LH SEAT SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER (for Driver Side) 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the LH seat seat track upper rail cover as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
  5. INSTALL RH SEAT SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER (for Front Passenger Side) 

    HINT: 

    • Use the same procedure as for the LH seat seat track upper rail cover (for Driver Side).
    • Use the same procedure for both RH seat seat track upper rail covers.
  6. INSTALL SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER LH 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the seat track upper rail cover LH as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
  7. INSTALL SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side) 
    1. Engage the claw and guide.

    2. Engage the hook.

    3. Install the front seat lower cushion shield LH with the screw.
  9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side) 
    1. Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Engage the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield RH.
  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Engage the claw and guide.

    2. Engage the hook.
    3. Install the front seat lower cushion shield LH with the screw.

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the front seat lower cushion shield LH (for Driver Side).

  12. INSTALL LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER 
    1. Engage the 2 guides to install the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover.

  13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER 

    HINT: 

    When installing a separate type front seat cushion cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [03/2017 - 09/2019] 

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install 13 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Fastener
      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.
      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.
    2. Engage the 2 fasteners.
    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 2 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.
      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.
  15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Engage each hook to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Connect the connector.

        *A w/ Wire Harness Clamp - -
      2. Engage the 4 clamps to install the front seat cushion heater assembly wire harness.
      3. Engage a new wire harness clamp. (w/ Wire Harness Clamp)
  16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE 
    1. Connect each connector and engage each clamp to install the front seat No. 2 wire.
  17. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK HOOK 
    1. Engage the 2 clamps to install the 2 front No. 2 seatback hooks to the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  18. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Engage the 8 hooks to install the front seatback spring sub-assembly RH to the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  19. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  21. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  22. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 

    HINT: 

    When installing a separate type front seatback cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [03/2017 - 09/2019] 

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 10 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Fastener (w/ Fastener)
      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.
      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.
    2. w/ Fastener
      1. Engage the fastener.
  23. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Install the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
  24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    2. w/ Webbing
      1. Engage the 2 brackets.

        *a Bracket
      2. Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the screw.

        Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

        NOTE:
        • For vehicles with a front seat airbag assembly, the separate type front seatback cover with pad must be securely installed. Otherwise, the front seat airbag assembly may not deploy properly.
        • Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the screw.
        • Install the brackets securely.
    3. Pass each wire harness through the hole of the separate type front seatback cover.

    4. Engage the hook.
    5. Close the 2 fasteners.

  25. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the separate type front seatback assembly to the separate type front seat cushion assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 45 N*m (459 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf) 

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Engage the clamp to install the front seatback heater assembly wire harness.
    3. Connect the connector.

    4. Engage the 2 clamps to install the front seat No. 2 wire.
    5. Engage the claw and 3 clamps to install the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      HINT: 

      Engage the claw first.

    6. Engage the hook.

  26. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  27. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  28. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  29. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD

    2. Install the front seat lower cushion shield with the screw.
  30. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. Engage the guide as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the front seat inner cushion shield with the 2 screws.
