Disassembly [02/2017 - 10/2017]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 2
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [02/2017 - 10/2017]
- REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR FRAME BRACKET
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG
- REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL
- REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 3 screws.
- Remove the 2 screws.
Place Hands Here Remove in this Direction - Disengage the clips and guide as shown in the illustration.
- Disengage the claws as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction - Disengage the guides to disconnect the rear door inside locking cable assembly and rear door lock remote control cable assembly to remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
*1 Rear Door Inside Locking Cable Assembly *2 Rear Door Lock Remote Control Cable Assembly Remove in this Direction
- Remove the 3 screws.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT REAR SEAL
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS INNER WEATHERSTRIP
- REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT SEAL
- REMOVE HOLE PLUG
- REMOVE NO. 2 REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BRACKET
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE PANEL REINFORCE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR CUSHION
- REMOVE NO. 2 SEPARATOR DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION
- REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REAR LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Disengage the rear door glass sub-assembly from the rear door window regulator sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
After separating the rear door glass sub-assembly, do not allow it to fall.
- Remove the rear door glass sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not damage the rear door glass sub-assembly.
Remove in this Direction (1) Remove in this Direction (2)
- Disengage the rear door glass sub-assembly from the rear door window regulator sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the connector.
*a Temporary Bolt - Loosen the temporary bolt.NOTE:
Do not remove the temporary bolt. If the temporary bolt is removed, the rear door window regulator assembly may fall and cause damage.
- Remove the 3 bolts and rear door window regulator assembly.
- Remove the temporary bolt from the rear door window regulator assembly.
- Disconnect the connector.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS
- REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP
- REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 17
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the No. 1 rear door lock remote control cable assembly from the clamps.
- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Peel back the double-sided tape.
Double-sided Tape - Disengage the claws from the rear door service hole as shown in the illustration to separate the rear door outside handle assembly together with the rear door outside handle cover as a single unit.
Push WARNING:Be careful not to cut your hands or fingers on the edge of the rear door panel.
HINT:
If your hands cannot fit, use a tool such as a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape to disengage the claws.
- Disengage the guide to disconnect the No. 1 rear door lock remote control cable assembly to remove the rear door outside handle assembly with the rear door outside handle cover.NOTE:
Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the rear door panel.
- Disconnect the No. 1 rear door lock remote control cable assembly from the clamps.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE REAR DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL
- REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE REAR DOOR PANEL CUSHION
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING

- REMOVE REAR DOOR UPPER WINDOW FRAME MOULDING
Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 4
- REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING

- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE STRIPE
