DTC P2828-12: Pressure Control Solenoid "K" Circuit Short to Battery [06/2018 - 09/2024]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the C61 transmission wire connector.

   *a	Component without harness connected (Transmission Wire)

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   15 (SLS+) - Other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   20 (SLS-) - Other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher

3. Connect the C61 transmission wire connector.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

1. Disconnect the C80 TCM connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition

   C80-3 (SLS-) - Other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher

3. Connect the C80 TCM connector.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - TCM)

OK

2. Disconnect the transmission wire connector from the shift solenoid valve SLS.

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 09/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - 11/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2022 - 09/2024]

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 (shift solenoid valve side) or 15 (SLS+) (wire harness connector side) - All other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   2 (shift solenoid valve side) or 20 (SLS-) (wire harness connector side) - All other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE
