DTC P0775-12: Pressure Control Solenoid "B" Circuit Short to Battery [06/2018 - 09/2024]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT TRANSMISSION WIRE (SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL2) 
    1. Disconnect the C61 transmission wire connector.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Transmission Wire)
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 (SL2+) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
      8 (SL2-) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
    3. Connect the C61 transmission wire connector.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - TCM) 
    1. Disconnect the C80 TCM connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C80-19 (SL2+) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
      C80-20 (SL2-) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
    3. Connect the C80 TCM connector.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - TCM) 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. REPLACE TCM 
    1. Replace the TCM.

      Refer to COMPONENTS [06/2018 - 01/2019] , or refer to COMPONENTS [01/2019 - 03/2019] , or refer to COMPONENTS [03/2019 - 09/2024]

      Result

    Result: 

    NEXT 

    PERFORM REGISTRATION AND INITIALIZATION 

    for Registration: Refer to REGISTRATION [06/2018 - 09/2024]

    for Initialization: Refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2018 - 09/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2022 - 11/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2022 - 09/2024]

  4. INSPECT TRANSMISSION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the C61 transmission wire connector.

      *1 Transmission Valve Body Assembly *2 Shift Solenoid Valve SL2
      *3 Transmission Wire - -
      *a Shift Solenoid Valve Side *b Wire Harness Connector Side
    2. Disconnect the transmission wire connector from the shift solenoid valve SL2.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 09/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - 11/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2022 - 09/2024]

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (shift solenoid valve side) or 3 (SL2+) (wire harness connector side) - All other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
      2 (shift solenoid valve side) or 8 (SL2-) (wire harness connector side) - All other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE 

    Refer to COMPONENTS [06/2018 - 03/2023] , or refer to COMPONENTS [03/2023 - 09/2024]

    Result: 

    OK

  5. REPLACE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Replace the transmission valve body assembly.

      Refer to COMPONENTS [06/2018 - 09/2024]

      Result

    PERFORM REGISTRATION AND INITIALIZATION
