Removal [12/2015 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and the front wheel opening extension pad LH.

  2. SEPARATE FRONT FENDER LINER LH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

    2. Remove the 2 clips.

    3. Remove the 2 screws.
  3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE HOOD LOCK NUT CAP 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the hood lock nut cap.

  6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock.
    3. Disconnect the hood lock control cable.
  7. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 ).

  8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 
  9. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 ).

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  11. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the hood lock control cable from hood lock control lever.
    2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disconnect the clamps shown in the illustration.

      *1 Hood Lock Control Cable - -
    3. Pull the cable from the engine room and remove it.
