Installation [06/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install a new gasket to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
    2. Install the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

  2. CONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE 
    1. Connect the water by-pass hose and slide the clip to secure it.
  3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 72

  4. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Engage the clamp to connect the engine wire.
    2. Install the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly connector.
  5. INSTALL ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Install the engine mounting insulator sub-assembly RH to the engine mounting spacer and vehicle body with the nut and 2 bolts.

      Torque: 72 N*m (734 kgf*cm, 53 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Temporarily tighten the bolt (A), and then fully tighten the 2 bolts and nut in the order of (B), (A) and (C).

    2. Install the engine mounting insulator sub-assembly RH to the front No. 1 engine mounting bracket LH with the 3 bolts and nut.

      Bolt 

      Torque: 72 N*m (734 kgf*cm, 53 ft.*lbf) 

      Nut 

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Install the suction hose sub-assembly, suction pipe sub-assembly and air conditioning tube and accessory assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

    4. Engage the 2 clamps.
  6. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the radiator reserve tank assembly with the bolt and nut in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

    2. Engage the clamp.
  7. INSTALL ENGINE MOUNTING STAY No. 2 RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  8. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 46 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 46 [10/2020 - ]

  9. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  2

  10. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  11. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67 [10/2020 - ]

  12. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68 [10/2020 - ]

  13. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER No. 1 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 69 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 69 [10/2020 - ]

  14. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 71 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 71 [10/2020 - ]

  15. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 70 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 70 [10/2020 - ]
