Installation [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

- INSTALL THROTTLE BODY GASKET
- INSTALL THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Install the throttle body with motor assembly and wire harness clamp bracket to the intake air surge tank assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:If the throttle body with motor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Connect the No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 3 water by-pass hose to the throttle body with motor assembly and slide the 2 clips to secure them.
- Connect the throttle body with motor assembly connector and engage the wire harness clamp.
- Install the throttle body with motor assembly and wire harness clamp bracket to the intake air surge tank assembly with the 4 bolts.
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
- Engage the clamp to install the air cleaner assembly with air cleaner hose.
- Connect the air cleaner hose to the throttle body with motor assembly.
- Install the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
- Tighten the hose clamp.
- Connect the ventilation hose to the air cleaner hose and slide the clip to secure it.
- Connect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector and engage the wire harness clamp.
- Engage the hose clamp to the air cleaner hose.
- Engage the clamp to install the air cleaner assembly with air cleaner hose.
- INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER
- Connect the inlet No. 1 air cleaner to the air cleaner assembly.
- Install the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
- Engage the hose clamp to the inlet No. 1 air cleaner.
- INSTALL INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER
- Connect the inlet No. 2 air cleaner to the inlet No. 1 air cleaner.
- Install the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
- INSTALL INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Connect the intake air resonator sub-assembly to the inlet No. 2 air cleaner.
- Install the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
- Engage the 3 hose clamps to the intake air resonator sub-assembly.
- INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

- INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE SEAL RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR SEAL LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67
- INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
- INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

- ADD ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION NOTE:
- Be sure to perform this procedure after removing and reinstalling the throttle body with motor assembly or any throttle body with motor assembly components.
- Perform the following procedure after replacing the throttle body with motor assembly or any throttle body with motor assembly components. The following procedure should also be performed if the throttle body with motor assembly is cleaned.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3 and clear the DTCs.
- Turn the power switch on (IG) without operating the accelerator pedal.
- Perform the "Inspection After Repair".
Refer to INITIALIZATION [02/2014 - 11/2016]
- Put the engine in inspection mode (maintenance mode).
- Start the engine and check that the MIL is not illuminated. After the engine is warmed up, check that the idle speed is within the specified range with the A/C switch off.
Standard Idle Speed
850 to 950 rpm
NOTE:- Be sure to perform this step with all accessories off.
- Make sure that the shift lever is in P.
- Perform a road test and confirm that there are no abnormalities.
