Installation [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear cooling unit assembly with the 4 bolts.
      NOTE:

      Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the rear cooling unit assembly.

    3. Connect the drain cooler hose.
    4. Engage each clamp.
    5. Connect each connector.
  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT 
    1. Install the rear No. 5 air duct with the 2 clips.
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT 
    1. Install the No. 1 cooler air duct.
  4. INSTALL COOLER PLATE 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the cooler plate.
  5. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  6. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34

  7. INSTALL ROPE HOOK 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  9. INSTALL DECK TRIM POCKET COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  11. INSTALL COOLER (NO. 2 ROOM TEMP. SENSOR) THERMISTOR 

    See step  1

  12. CONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 44 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 42

  14. CONNECT REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  15. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31

  16. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 61 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 59

  17. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 49

  18. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  19. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [02/2014 - 11/2016] , or refer to INSTALLATION [11/2016 - ]

  20. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 69 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67

  21. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 70 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68

  22. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 71 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 69

  23. INSTALL NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 72 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 70

  24. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 73 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 71

  25. CONNECT NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the outlet heater water hose with the marking within the area shown in the illustration.

      *a View A
      *b Marking (Yellow)
      *c Outlet Heater Water Hose Installation Angle (30 to 60°)
      *d Clip Installation Angle (15 to 75°)
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force to the outlet heater water hose.

    2. Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.
    3. Connect the inlet heater water hose with the marking within the area shown in the illustration.

      *b Marking (Yellow)
      *c Inlet Heater Water Hose Installation Angle (30 to 60°)
      *d Clip Installation Angle (15 to 75°)
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force to the inlet heater water hose.

    4. Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.
    5. Remove the vinyl tape from the liquid tube.
    6. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the liquid tube.

      Compressor Oil

      ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

    7. Install the O-ring to the liquid tube.
    8. Connect the liquid tube.
    9. Remove the vinyl tape from the suction tube.
    10. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the suction tube.

      Compressor Oil

      ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

    11. Install the O-ring to the suction tube.
    12. Connect the suction tube.
    13. Rotate the hook connector as shown in the illustration.

    14. Insert the tube joint into the fitting hole securely and install the bolt.

      Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf) 

  26. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR 
    1. Install the No. 1 luggage compartment side cover protector with the 3 screws, bolt and clip.
  27. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  28. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  29. CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT 

    See step  2

  30. WARM UP COMPRESSOR 

    See step  3

  31. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK 

    See step  4
