Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER 

    See step  10

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH

      w/ KDSS:

      Remove the 7 clips and front fender apron seal LH.

      w/o KDSS:

      Remove the 5 clips and front fender apron seal LH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH

      Remove the 4 clips and front fender apron seal RH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL LH

      Remove the 5 clips and front No. 1 fender apron to frame seal LH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL RH

      Remove the 5 clips and front No. 1 fender apron to frame seal RH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] )

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold stay.

  11. REMOVE AIR TUBE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  13. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 6 nuts, exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH and gasket.
  14. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  15. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY

      Remove the 3 bolts and manifold stay.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR TUBE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  18. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 6 nuts, exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH and gasket.
  19. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
