FRONT STABILIZER BAR (for 2WD): Removal
- PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
- SECURE STEERING WHEEL (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE COLUMN HOLE COVER SILENCER SHEET (See REMOVAL )
- SEPARATE NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- SEPARATE NO. 1 STEERING COLUMN HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
- REMOVE FRONT WHEELS
- SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
- SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the nut and separate the stabilizer link assembly LH from the front shock absorber with coil spring.
HINT:
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.
- Remove the nut and the stabilizer link assembly LH from the front stabilizer bar.
HINT:
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.
- Remove the nut and separate the stabilizer link assembly LH from the front shock absorber with coil spring.
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- SEPARATE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM LH (See REMOVAL )
- SEPARATE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR
- Remove the 4 bolts and front stabilizer bar from the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly.
- REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING (for LH Side)
- Remove the No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushing from the front stabilizer bar.
- REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING (for RH Side)

Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
