PARKING BRAKE CABLE (for Rear Disc Brake): Installation

INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE CLAMP
1. Engage the 2 claws together to install a new No. 3 parking brake cable clamp to the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.
INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
1. Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the 2 bolts.

  Torque: 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf)
2. Insert the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly into the body.
3. Install the bolt.
  Torque: 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf)

4. Install the No. 3 parking brake cable clamp.

5. Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH.
  HINT:
  
  Be sure to engage the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly clip onto the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

6. Connect the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH.

7. Install the bolt.
  Torque: 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf)
8. Engage the clamp to the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER PROTECTOR
1. Install the parking brake lever protector to the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
1. Install the front No. 2 floor heat insulator with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
1. Install the front No. 1 floor heat insulator with the 3 nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for 2ZR-FE) (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for 2AZ-FE) (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CABLE END STOPPER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL PARKING BRAKE EQUALIZER (See INSTALLATION )

ADJUST PARKING BRAKE TRAVEL (See PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM )
INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
INSTALL REAR WHEELS
Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
