Section 177 (Charging System (2GR-FE)): Generator: Installation

INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the generator with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)

2. Install the bolt to the cylinder block.
  Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

3. Connect the generator connector to the generator. (See Fig 3).
4. Connect the generator wire with the nut.
  Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 88 in.*lbf)

5. Install the terminal cap.
6. Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.

INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (See appropriate step(s) under INSTALLATION )
INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK (See appropriate step(s) under INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT RH (See appropriate step(s) under INSTALLATION )
INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH (See appropriate step(s) under INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH
INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the radiator (see INSTALLATION ).
