Center Console: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: Release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position. Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL .
    • On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor.
  2. Remove the heater control assembly. Refer to AIR CONDITIONER>CONTROL PANEL>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the cover assembly front and the console box assembly. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the right and left cover center sides.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Release the claws and clips and pull the cover center side to remove.

  5. Remove the duct console center. Refer to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT DUCT>REMOVAL>CONSOLE DUCT>CENTER .
  6. Remove the tray center UPR together with the duct console front as a unit.
    1. Release the claws and remove the screws.
    2. Disconnect each connector, and remove the tray center UPR together with the duct console front as a unit.

    3. Remove the clips, and remove the duct console front.
