Control Panel: Removal
- When the heater control assembly is replaced with a new part, read and store the ECM setting information. (Model with driver monitoring system): Refer to AIR CONDITIONER (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT

- Connect the Subaru Select Monitor.
- On [Start] screen, select [Diagnosis].
- On [Select Vehicle] screen, enter vehicle information and select [OK].
- On [Main Menu] screen, select [Each System].
- On [Select System] screen, select [Air Conditioner], and then select [Next].
- On [Select Function] screen, select [Work Support].
- On the work support item list, select [Read Control module setting information].
- According to the display screen, save and close the file.
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the heater control assembly.
- Attach the protective tape (a).
- Release the c lips and c laws, and then remove the heater control assembly.CAUTION: Wrap a remover, etc. with protective tape or cloth. Use a remover, etc. by pressing it in the instrument panel side so that the heater control assembly should not be damaged.
- Disconnect the connector, and remove the heater control assembly.
- Remove the screws and remove the c enter panel assembly.
