Water Tank Pipe Assembly

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: If the engine coolant is spilt over the engine or the exhaust pipe, completely wipe it off to avoid emission of smoke or causing a fire.
  1. When water hose (A) and water hose (B) were replaced
    1. Connect the water hose (A). Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO (HEV))>PCV CONNECTOR>INSTALLATION .
    2. Connect the water hose (B).

  2. Install the filler neck to the water tank pipe assembly. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>WATER PIPE>INSTALLATION>FILLER NECK .
  3. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor to the water tank pipe assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR>INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the preheater hose to the water tank pipe assembly.

  5. Set new O-rings.

  6. Connect the water tank pipe assembly to the water hose (A) and install the bolt that holds the water tank pipe assembly.

    Tightening torque: 

    6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

  7. Connect the water hose (A), over flow hose (B), radiator inlet hose (C) and heater inlet hose (D).

  8. Connect the connector (D).
  9. Connect the connector (A) and install the clip (B) and clip (C).

  10. Install the high-pressure fuel delivery pipe assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (HEV))>HIGH PRESSURE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE>INSTALLATION>HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE ASSEMBLY .
  11. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  12. Fill engine coolant. (Engine side) Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT>ENGINE SIDE .
