Floor Mat: Removal
CAUTION:
- Before handling the airbag system components, refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- Airbag system satellite safing sensor is located under the front center of the rear seat cushion. Be careful not to apply strong impact to the sensor when working with the rear seat cushion removed.
- Prior to starting work, refer to SEATS>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- Disconnect the ground terminal from the 12V engine restart battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE:
- For CVT models, release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position.
- For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
- For models with power seat, remove the seat mounting bolts before disconnecting the ground terminal from the 12V engine restart battery sensor or disconnecting the battery negative terminal.
- Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to SEATS>FRONT SEAT>REMOVAL .
- Remove the holder assembly jack and extension duct. (Hybrid model)
- Remove the power amplifier assembly and the extension duct. (Model with power amplifier) Refer to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>POWER AMPLIFIER>REMOVAL .
- Remove the rear seat cushion assembly. Refer to SEATS>REAR SEAT>REMOVAL .
- Remove the cover assembly - front and the console box assembly. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
- Remove the panel center LWR, and remove the tray - center UPR. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>REMOVAL .
- Remove the cover side sill - front INN, cover side sill - rear INN, and trim panel - center pillar LWR on the left and right sides. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>LOWER INNER TRIM>REMOVAL .
- Remove the cover - handle. Refer to SECURITY AND LOCKS>REMOTE OPENERS>REMOVAL>FUEL LID OPENER (EXCEPT FOR HYBRID MODEL) .
- Remove the knobs of the hook - seat cushion rear.
- Take out the floor mat from the vehicle.
