| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove wiper motor | When removing the left suspension strut (1). | AR82.30-P-6800SR |
| 2 | Unscrew bolts (2) | *BA32.25-P-1001-04Q | |
| 3 | Remove left or right front wheel and tire assembly | AR40.10-P-1100SR | |
| 4 | Detach electrical line (4) from bracket (3) | ||
| 5 | Detach brake hose (5) from bracket (3) | ||
| 6 | Unscrew nut (7) from connecting linkage (6) | *BA32.20-P-1001-02S | |
| 7 | Unscrew nuts (8) and pull out bolts (9) | *BA32.25-P-1003-04Q | |
| 8 | Detach suspension strut (1) from steering knuckle (10) | ||
| 9 | Detach connecting linkage (6) from suspension strut (1) and remove suspension strut (1) downwards | Otherwise the electrical line (4) or the brake hose (5) can be damaged. |

| 10 | Check damper for external oil leaks | AR32.25-P-0121SR | |
| 11 | Check components of suspension strut (1) for damage | If one or more of the components is damaged: ↓ Disassemble suspension strut (1) and check all components of suspension strut (1) for damage |
