| 3 | Remove spare tire | with CODE 690 (emergency spare tire (minispare)) with CODE R66 (Run-flat tire) | |
| 4 | Remove right cargo baggage rail (9) | with CODE 942 (EASY-PACK fixkit) | |
| 5 | Detach right load compartment floor support (8) | ||
| 6 | Remove crossmembers of the trailer hitch (1) | AR31.30-P-0007EW | |
| 7 | Unscrew screws/bolts (5) of the right-hand longitudinal member reinforcement (3) | ||
| 8 | Pull right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) with seal (4) out of right vehicle longitudinal member and remove | ||
| 9 | Remove seal (4) from right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) | ||
| Install | |||
| 10 | Recut thread for bolts (5) of right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) | ||
| 11 | Slide seal (4) over right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) | ||
| 12 | Slide right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) into right vehicle longitudinal member | ||
| 13 | Position right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) on vehicle longitudinal member, and screw in bolts (5) with washers up to the contact surface | ||
| 14 | Tighten bolts (5) on right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) | *BA31.11-P-1003-01J | |
| 15 | Install crossmember for trailer hitch (1) | AR31.30-P-0007EW | |
| 16 | Attach right load compartment floor support (8) | ||
