Conduct function check on mechanical swing-away trailer hitch - AR31.19-P-1450EW

INSPECT Check     
1 Open cover in paneling at left side in luggage compartment or load compartment    
2 Unlock ball neck IMPORTANT The light-emitting diode (arrow) starts to flash at the trailer hitch release (A63) when the ball neck is not engaged. A warning message appears in the instrument cluster.  
3 Engage ball neck in one of the two end positions IMPORTANT Light-emitting diode at trailer hitch release (A63) goes out. The warning message in the instrument cluster disappears.  
4 Close cover in paneling at left side in luggage compartment or load compartment
