Remove/install air outlet temperature sensor - AR83.30-P-8087EW

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit IMPORTANT KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.  
  Left side air outlet temperature sensor (B10/31)     
2 Remove trim panel (9) on left side Model 207  
SPECIAL TOOL Fig 4
3 Unclip interior fuse box (F34) from instrument panel (10) and move to one side with electrical lines still connected Model 207

4 Remove trim strip (1) on driver side Model 212 AR68.10-P-1180EW
5 Turn left side air outlet temperature sensor (B10/31) 90° clockwise and remove    
6 Disconnect electrical connector (2)    
    Right side air outlet temperature sensor (B10/32)   
7 Remove trim panel (11) on the right Model 207

8 Remove glove box (3) Model 212 AR68.10-P-1200EW
9 Disconnect electrical connector (4)    
10 Turn right side air outlet temperature sensor (B10/32) 90° counterclockwise and remove    
  Left front footwell air outlet temperature sensor (B10/35)     
11 Remove cover (5) on left side NOTES Carefully lower the cover (5) on the left side into the driver footwell with the electrical lines still connected and the engine hood release cable still fitted.  
12 Disconnect electrical connector (6)    
13 Turn left front footwell vent air outlet temperature sensor (B10/35) 90° counterclockwise and remove    
  Right front footwell vent air outlet temperature sensor (B10/36)     
14 Remove cover (7) on right side NOTES Carefully lower the cover (7) on the right side into the front passenger footwell with the electrical lines still connected. AR68.10-P-1520CW
15 Disconnect electrical connector (8)    
16 Turn right front footwell vent air outlet temperature sensor (B10/36) 90° counterclockwise and remove    
  Rear footwell vent temperature sensor air outlet (B10/38)  On vehicles with code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning  
17 Remove center console (12) Model 207 AR68.20-P-2000CW
Model 212 AR68.20-P-2000EW
18 Disconnect electrical connector (13)    
19 Turn rear footwell vent air outlet temperature sensor (B10/38) 90° counterclockwise and remove IMPORTANT On model 212, the rear footwell vent air outlet temperature sensor (B10/38) is on the rear blower motor.  
20 Install in the reverse order
