	Remove/install
	Passenger side trim strip (1)
1	Open glove compartment lid
2	Pull retaining clips (7) downward beyond catch point and leave in cutout for glove compartment	Ensure that retaining clips (7) are seated correctly in pins (arrows D) on passenger side trim strip (1).
3	Hook extraction hooks into openings on catch hook (arrows B and C)		Fig 3
4	Loosen passenger side trim strip (1) with side air vent (3) from instrument panel by pulling extraction hook	Pull out carefully, danger of breaking passenger side trim strip (1).

5	Install extraction hook in openings of catch hooks (15) on center air vent (2) and push catch hook in direction of vent center (arrows K)	Center air vent (2) is unlocked

6	Hook extraction hook on catch hook (15) carefully in center air vent (2) (arrows L) and loosen passenger side trim strip (1) with center air vent (2) out of instrument panel by pulling extraction hook	Pull out carefully, danger of breaking passenger side trim strip (1).

7	Pull passenger side trim strip (1) with side air vent (3) and center air vent (2) out of instrument panel
8	Disconnect electrical connectors (4, 5, 6)	Electrical connector (4) only with code (954) Avantgarde or code (955) Elegance.
9	Remove passenger side trim strip (1)
10	Remove center air vent (2)	When replacing passenger side trim strip (1).	AR83.10-P-4503EW
11	Remove side air vent (3)	When replacing passenger side trim strip (1).	AR83.10-P-4740EW
	Driver side trim strip (9)
12	Hook extraction hook into openings on catch hook (arrows E and F)		Fig 3
13	Loosen driver side trim strip (9) with side air vent (10) from instrument panel by pulling extraction hook	Pull out carefully, danger of breaking driver side trim strip (9).

14	Pull driver side trim strip (9) with side air vent (10) out of instrument panel until electrical connectors (11, 12) are accessible	Electrical connector (12) only with code (954) Avantgarde or code (955) Elegance.
15	Disconnect electrical connectors (11, 12)	Electrical connector (12) only with code (954) Avantgarde or code (955) Elegance.
16	Remove side air vent (10)	When replacing driver side trim strip (9).	AR83.10-P-4740EW
	Instrument cluster trim strip (13)
17	Manually press pins (arrows G and H) on instrument cluster trim strip (13) out of instrument cluster panel (14)
18	Unclip catch hook (arrows J) from instrument panel cover (14)	Ensure that catch hooks (arrows J) are seated correctly in instrument panel cover (14).
19	Remove instrument panel trim strip (13)
20	Install in the reverse order
