		Ensure contact surfaces are absolutely clean. There may be contact problems otherwise and consequently damage to the high voltage on-board electrical system.

8	Pull oil suction pipe (8) down and off	Replace O-ring (9) on oil suction pipe (8). Push oil suction pipe (8) up to end stop in the oil pump (10).

10	Remove screw/bolts (1, 2, 3) on oil pan top section	Pay attention to different screw/bolt lengths and screw/bolt diameters. 11	Remove oil pan top section	Screw screw/bolts into the threaded holes in the area of the screw/bolt feed throughs (4) M6x60 and pry off oil pan top section carefully and evenly.
12	Remove pilot bushing in crankcase	The pilot bushings are no longer needed during installation.
	Clean
13	Clean contact surfaces for oil pan top section	Do not clean sealing surfaces with sharp-edged or tipped objects. Damage could occur on the sealing surfaces otherwise. Warm sealing surfaces for oil pan top section in order to achieve better working loose of the sealant.	AR01.00-P-0050-01A

15	Install in the reverse order
	Check
16	Check engine oil level, correct if necessary

		The engine oil level must lie between "Min" and "Max". Engine damage can occur otherwise.
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
17	Carry out engine test run and check engine for leaktightness in the area of the oil pan
