Electric outside mirrors, general
In order to adapt to the different driving situations, the outside mirrors are electrically adjustable. The mirror glasses can be heated additionally.
The electric outside mirror function contains the following partial functions, which are described in separate documents:
- Garage door opener function (with code (232) Garage door opener or with code (231) Garage door opener at frequency of 284-390 MHz)
- Mirror glass adjustment of left/right outside mirror
- Heat left/right outside mirror
- Passenger side outside rearview mirror park position (with code (275) Electrically adjustable front seats, memory package)
- Folding left/right outside mirror (with code (249) Automatically dimming inside and outside mirrors including folding outside mirrors without code (494) USA version)
