	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Carry out initial startup of left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)	When replacing left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		Note Data Matrix code on the left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2).
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit
3	Remove fender liner in left or right front fender		AR88.10-P-1300ELX
4	Remove front engine compartment paneling or bottom section of soundproofing	MODEL 207

5	Detach washer fluid reservoir and press to one side	When removing left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7).

6	Detach stationary heater and tie to one side	MODEL 207, 212 with CODE 228 (Stationary heater) When removing right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7).
		Remove/install heater unitMODEL 212 with CODE 228 (Stationary heater)	AR83.70-P-5302EW
7	Remove screws/bolts (1) at left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)
8	Pull out left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7) until electrical connectors can be disconnected	Ensure that seal (3) is seated correctly on left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2).
9	Disconnect electrical connectors and remove left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)
10	Install in the reverse order
