Remove/install headlamp control unit - AR82.10-P-4660EWM

MODEL 207, 212 with CODE 631 (Headlamps, LED, static, left-hand traffic) without CODE 640 (Headlamps, LED, dynamic, SAE, right-side traffic) without CODE 641 (Headlamps, LED, dynamic, left-side traffic) without CODE 642 (Headlamps, LED, dynamic, right-side traffic) 

MODEL 207, 212 with CODE 632 (Headlamps, LED, static, right-side traffic) without CODE 640 (Headlamps, LED, dynamic, SAE, right-side traffic) without CODE 641 (Headlamps, LED, dynamic, left-side traffic) without CODE 642 (Headlamps, LED, dynamic, right-side traffic)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Carry out initial startup of left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9) When replacing left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit    
3 Remove fender liner front section in left or right front fender   AR88.10-P-1300ELX
4.1 Remove engine compartment paneling MODEL 207, 212 with ENGINE 271, 272, 273, 274, 276, 278; MODEL 212 with ENGINE 156, 157  
      AR61.20-P-1105EW
4.2 Remove bottom section of soundproofing at front Model 207, 212 with engine 642, 651  
      AR94.30-P-5300EW
5 Detach washer fluid reservoir and press to one side When removing left headlamp control unit (E1n9).  
      AR82.35-P-6000CW 
6 Detach stationary heater and tie to one side MODEL 207, 212 with CODE 228 (Stationary heater)
When removing right headlamp control unit (E2n9).
 
    MODEL 212 with CODE 228 (Stationary heater) AR83.70-P-5302EW
7 Remove screws/bolts (2) at left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or at right headlamp control unit (E2n9)    
8 Pull out left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9) until electrical connectors can be separated INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that seal is seated correctly under left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9).  
9 Disconnect electrical connectors and remove left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9)    
10 Install in the reverse order
