Checking oil pressure of power steering pump - AR46.30-P-0100CMG

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.   AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
NOTES Before opening the hydraulic circuit of the power steering, thoroughly clean the area surrounding the separation point. Even minute particles of dirt, introduced into the hydraulic components, can result in malfunctions or damage to the power steering    
1 Remove front engine cover and engine intake air ducts upstream of air filter    
2 Suction off oil from expansion reservoir (2) of power steering SPECIAL TOOL Figure
3 Separate air line of secondary air injection pump at separation point    
4 Unclip front purge switchover valve and put to one side    
5 Detach engine mount from front axle carrier   AR22.10-P-1260CMG
6 Separate electrical connector from engine suction-type fan    
7 Unclip pressure line (1) from bracket on engine oil line    
8 Attach engine lifting device (8) and lift engine Model 204 AR33.10-P-0105CW
Model 212 AR33.10-P-0105EW
9 Detach pressure line (1) from power steering pump and put down towards the right-hand side of the vehicle   AR46.25-P-3015CMG 
10 Mount connection fitting (02) on pressure line (1) SPECIAL TOOL Fig 3
11 Mount connection hose (02a) on power steering pump SPECIAL TOOL Fig 3
12 Mount testing unit (01) between connection fitting (02) and connecting hose (02a) SPECIAL TOOL Fig 4
INSPECT Checking     
13 Fill power steering pump and bleed Model 204 AR46.30-P-0010CW
Model 212 AR46.30-P-0010EW 
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

14 Start engine and allow it to run at engine speed of approx. 1000 rpm
15 Close throttle cock (01a) and check maximum operating pressure   *BE46.30-P-1001-01G 
16 Turn off engine    
17 Install in the reverse order    
18 Fill power steering pump and bleed Model 204 AR46.30-P-0010CW
Model 212 AR46.30-P-0010EW 
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.

19 Test run engine and check steering system for leaks
