Remove/install starter - AR15.30-P-7100EHV

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of death  when touching components on vehicles with high-voltage on-board electrical system Do not touch components and open lines of the high-voltage on-board electrical system. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers), must not carry out any work on high-voltage on-board electrical systems. AS54.00-Z-0001-01A
1 Perform enable for the high voltage on-board electrical system   AR54.10-P-1150EH
2 Disconnect ground line at the on-board electrical system battery   AR54.10-P-0003EW
3 Unclip electrical connections (1) from bracket and disconnect    
4 Remove lower engine compartment paneling   AR61.20-P-1105EW
5 Remove right catalytic converter (2) from manifold TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, catalytic converter to exhaust manifold *BA49.10-P-1001-01AE 
6 Remove right catalytic converter (2) from bracket (3) and lay over the front axle carrier TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, catalytic converter holder to catalytic converter *BA49.10-P-1010-01AE 
7 Remove heat shield (4)    
8 Remove retaining clamps (5, 6)    
9 Remove contact protection on electrical line for circuit 30 (7)    
10 Remove electrical line for circuit 30 (7) from starter (M1) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, connection for terminal designation 30 *BA15.30-P-1001-01J 
11 Remove electrical line for circuit 50 (8) from starter (M1) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, connection for terminal designation 50 *BA15.30-P-1002-01J 
12 Remove starter (M1) from cylinder crankcase NOTES
Place 3-phase high-voltage line (9) for removal of the mounting screws and for removal of the starter (M1) to one side.
The 3-phase high-voltage line (9) can be damaged otherwise.		  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, starter to crankcase *BA15.30-P-1003-01J 
13 Check ring gear at flywheel for wear and damage When replacing the starter (M1).
IMPORTANT Rotate engine at center Bolt, crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation.
If there are problems:

Replace flywheel AR03.30-P-8001EHV
14 Install in the reverse order
