Headlamp Levelling Actuator Replacement (Halogen): Removal

  1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to FRONT BUMPER FASCIA REPLACEMENT .
  2. Remove the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT .
  3. Remove the headlamp bulb low beam. Refer to HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (XENON - LEFT SIDE) , HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (XENON - RIGHT SIDE) , HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (HIGH BEAM)  or HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (LOW BEAM) .
  4. Remove the headlamp bulb dust covers.
  5. Rotate the adjuster (horizontal/vertical) with a 6 mm Allen key (5) clockwise to the block.

  6. Rotate the headlamp levelling actuator with a screwdriver (6) clockwise at 60° (headlamp left side; headlamp right side anticlockwise).

  7. Move the headlamp levelling actuator in upper direction, until the headlamp range adjuster is detached from the reflector.
  8. Remove the headlamp levelling actuator through the dipped beam opening (8) and disconnect the electrical connector.
