Headlamp Levelling Actuator Replacement (Halogen): Assemble

  1. Connect the electrical connector on the new headlamp levelling actuator.
  2. The new headlamp levelling actuator (2) must be mounted centred through the guide slide.

  3. Engage the new headlamp levelling actuator (3) with the guide slide of the reflector.

    Open the high beam dust cover and push the guide slide with an applicable tool in direction of the new headlamp levelling actuator.

  4. Push now the headlamp levelling actuator ball head into the guide slide and rotate the actuator counter clockwise about 60° (headlamp left side; headlamp right side clockwise).
  5. Rotate the adjusting screw (horizontal/vertical) clockwise into base position (5 revolutions).
  6. Install the headlamp bulb low beam. Refer to HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (XENON - LEFT SIDE) , HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (XENON - RIGHT SIDE) , HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (HIGH BEAM)  or HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (LOW BEAM) .
  7. Install the dust covers for low and high beam.
  8. Install the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT .
  9. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to FRONT BUMPER FASCIA REPLACEMENT .
  10. Adjust the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP AIMING (BASE)  or HEADLAMP AIMING (CHECK AND ADJUST) .
