Disconnect electric plug connection -1- at the rear window heating connection.
Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2- for actuating cylinder for rear lid at the left. → 557319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ACTUATING CYLINDER FOR REAR LID

Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1- for tail light in rear lid at the left. → 943119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TAIL LIGHT IN REAR LID
Disconnect electric plug connection -2- at the parking aid buzzer -3- .
Release and disconnect electric plug connections -4- at the rear lid control unit -5- . → 556819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR REAR LID

Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1- at wiper motor for rear window washer -2- . → 923419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WIPER MOTOR FOR REAR WINDOW WASHER
Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3- for rear lid release. → 555719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR LID RELEASE

Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1- for actuating cylinder for rear lid at the right. → 557319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ACTUATING CYLINDER FOR REAR LID

Screw off fastening nut -1- and remove ground strap -2- .

Disengage antenna line -1- from its holder -2- , then release -a- and disconnect it.
Disengage hose for rear window washer -3- from its holder, then release -b- and disconnect it.

Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1- (-a- ).

Open holder -1- and remove it from the tailgate.
Unclip all retaining clips -2- on the tailgate wire harness at the left using a plastic wedge.

Press grommet -1- into the tailgate.
Unclip cable bushing -2- from the tailgate and roof pillar.
Carefully guide wire harness for tailgate at the left -3- out through the openings in the tailgate and roof pillar and remove it.
