Removing Dashboard

- Remove instrument panel cover → Removing Dashboard Cover On The Driver's Side → Removing Dashboard Cover On The Passenger's Side
- Remove cover for instrument panel (defroster cover) → Removing Cover For Dashboard (Defroster Cover)
- Remove Bose centre speaker → Removing Front Loudspeakers (Dashboard)
- Remove steering-column switch → Removing Steering-Column Switch
- Remove instrument cluster → Removing Instrument Cluster
- Remove passenger's airbag unit → Removing Passenger's Airbag Unit
- Remove front ashtray → Removing Front Ashtray
- Remove display and operator control unit (PCM).
- Remove A-pillar trim → Removing A-Pillar Trim
- Remove the device carrier. To do this, unscrew the fastening screws -2- .
- Pull the device plugs -1- to the rear -arrow A- until the plugs -arrows- are accessible.
- Release and pull off the plugs -arrows- .
- Remove the sheetmetal reinforcement on the passenger's side. To do this, unscrew the fastening screws -4- .
- Lift the sheetmetal reinforcement on the front passenger's side -3- and pull it out to the rear -arrow B- .
- Remove the centre instrument panel cover. To do this, unscrew the fastening screws -6- .
- Swivel the centre instrument panel cover -5- carefully upward -arrow C- and then remove it to the rear -arrow D- .
- Release the instrument panel on the driver's side and at the middle. To do this, unscrew the fastening screws -7- and -7- .
- Release the instrument panel on the passenger's side. To do this, unscrew the fastening screws -8- .
- Carefully pull the instrument panel -9- to the rear -arrow E- until the clip connection in the area of the A-pillar becomes accessible.
- Unclip the clip connection -10- on the instrument panel -arrow F- .
- Carefully pull the instrument panel -9- to the rear -arrow G- out of the retaining clips -11- .
