Removing Wire Harness For Tailgate At The Right

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.

  1. Wire harness for tailgate, left
  2. Wire harness for tailgate, right
  1. Unscrew fastening screw -3-  and disconnect ground line -2-  .

  2. Press rubber sleeve -4-  inwards -A-  and pull wire harness -2-  through towards the inside.

  3. Press rubber sleeve -5-  inwards -B-  and pull wire harness -2-  through towards the inside.

  4. Release and disconnect electric plug connections for the rear lid control unit. → REMOVING CONTROL UNIT FOR REAR LID - section on "Removing"
  5. Release and disconnect electric plug connections for the actuating cylinders for the rear lid. → REMOVING ACTUATING CYLINDER FOR REAR LID - section on "Removing"
  6. Disconnect electric plug connection for rear window heating.
  7. Release and disconnect electric plug connections for the antenna amplifier. → REMOVING ANTENNA AMPLIFIER - section on "Removing"
  8. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for the rear lid buzzer. → REMOVING REAR LID BUZZER - section on "Removing"
  9. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for upper part of lid lock. → REMOVING UPPER PART OF REAR LID LOCK - section on "Removing"
  10. Unclip fixing clips -6-  for wire harness for tailgate at the right.

  11. Remove wire harness -2-  from the bracket next to the window -7-  (-C-  ).

  12. Remove wire harness -2-  from bracket -8-  .

  13. Remove rubber sleeve -9-  and pull wire harness -2-  through towards the tailgate -D-  .
  14. Release electric plug connections -a-  and disconnect them -G, H-  .

  15. Unclip bracket for the connectors -I-  and remove it -J-  .

  16. Unclip connectors from bracket -K-  and disconnect them -L-  .

  17. Guide wire harness -2-  towards the rear and through the cut-outs in the roof -arrow-  .
